I recently designed an album cover for a good friend of mine, Robbie Carelli. I came up with the idea to burn an old chair that he had in his house and needless to say Robbie was all for it. So we headed out to another friends house that is out in the middle of nowhere. After scoping out the property, we found the perfect spot to light the chiar on fire. With the help of a little bit of lighter fluid the chair went up in flames pretty quick. The picture that is on album was actually the first picture I took after the other guys got out of the frame.
You can buy Robbie’s Album “Belief in Sanity” on iTunes. He is an amazing musician, and I highly recommend you purchase it. You can also check him out on myspace, and purevolume.
I’d like to thank Aaron Paul for letting us use his backyard, and Jack Kelly for also taking pictures. I used one of his shots as the back of the cover. Below is the actual sticky note I sent to Robbie to illustrate the shot I wanted and I must say, we got it pretty dang close.
