Recently I watched a TED Talk called “After your final status update” by a guy named Adam Ostrow. It was a very short and very interesting talk about how we are leaving a digital diary behind us through all of the social networking websites out there now. If you think about it, you can literally go back through your facebook, twitter, blog etc. and re-live all the things you’ve experienced over the past years. We can flip through our facebook pictures to see slideshow of our lives. And unless the internet goes away, we will have these digital diaries f o r e v e r . . . (said in the voice of Squints, from The Sandlot)
So with that being said I randomly came up with the idea to start another blog titled “365 Days.” I am going to attempt to post at least one picture every day for the next year. Now I know this isn’t anything ground breaking and I am sure it’s been done many times over, but I think it will be neat to look back on this photo-journal a year later. If it goes well, maybe I will continue for another year or maybe not, we’ll see.
