Poster Contest for Phillip Phillips
Well, I entered another poster design contest through the website Creative Allies. This poster is for recent American Idol winner, Phillip Phillips. I’ve made the first cut again so now I just have to wait and see if I win or not. Last time it took like 2 months for them to announce a winner without any updates or expected announce dates.. it was pretty draining on the nerves. So this time around i’m not going to really sweat it haha. Anyways, below is a screen shot of the Editors choice gallery with my poster highlighted. I recently stumbled onto a website called Creative Allies. One of my favorit band’s, Dispatch, was hosting a poster design contest with a cash prize plus some other goodies if you win. I had a little free time this past weekend and decided to crank out a couple posters for the contest. So far i’ve got some pretty good feedback but the contest ends on the 27th so there’s still plenty of time left.

Hurricane Sandy
This past weekend Florida saw some of the biggest surf in years thanks to Hurricane Sandy. In honor of how unbelievable waves were, I put together this little meme below.
I Like to Doodle
I’ve been so busy keeping up with Flomotion and doing freelance design work that I haven’t had the chance to just make some art for art sake. So I took a little time the past two days to just doodle on some scrap cardboard and see what came from it. The picture makes it look better than it actually does because I added some filters to it, but I’d say it came out pretty good. If you ever see me stare off into space my mind probably looks something like this.
